Mike Ross is a distinguished leader in both the design-build industry and the athletic world. As the CEO of Addition Building & Design, Inc., his leadership has given the company the Houzz National Design & Service Award 13 times, recognizing their excellence in the field. Additionally, under his guidance, the company has been honored as a “Top 500 Company” nationally on eight occasions. Ross combines his sharp business acumen with a deep passion for sports, evident in his role as CEO of conNEXTions  Foundation and CEO of conNEXTions EXT, a Sports Organization that aims to elevate athletes and their families to the next level through strategic support and mentorship.


In his athletic endeavors, Mike Ross has achieved significant success as a coach, leading teams to three National Titles, seven State Championships, and 64 Tournament Championships. His extensive coaching experience spans high school, college, and semi-professional levels, showcasing his ability to develop athletes who consistently advance to higher levels of competition. Notably, over 40 of his athletes have progressed to compete at the next level. Ross’s athletic background is rooted in his collegiate days at Kent State University, where he excelled in basketball and baseball, further fueling his passion for sports.


Beyond his professional and athletic accomplishments, Mike Ross is deeply embedded in his community and personal life. He cherishes his Cleveland roots, holding the city's sports teams and memorable moments like the 2016 NBA World Championship. 


Ross also contributes his time and expertise to various organizations, including LA5 Rotary International, with a commitment to serving the community. His family includes his wife, Barbara, a talented screenwriter, and his three daughters, Christine, Laura, and Jami. Together, they embody the values of honesty, resilience, and hard work—principles that Ross upholds in every aspect of his multifaceted career.

Mike and his team of amazing professionals recently completed an addition on our home. Not only is the work exemplary and of the highest quality, but the courteousness and consideration shown to our family during construction was unmatched.
With a new baby on the way, we had a limited time frame to get the second story addition done, and Mike met our (very challenging) timeline and had the work done on time despite the extra cost and difficulty it presented to him. Every person who came through our house was extremely considerate of my pregnancy and our three- year old son. They were neat and unobtrusive and kind.
In terms of the work itself, Mike worked hard to realize our vision and address all of our concerns.
